The Prosper Group seeks a results-oriented professional with experience in creating and implementing Internet marketing strategies for political candidates, non-profit organizations, and corporations.
Reporting to the Director of Account Strategy, Account Managers provide significant program and project leadership responsibilities as well as implementation. Typical engagements include such goals as building membership and supporter lists, raising funds, building public awareness for candidates and causes, and driving participation in specific activities. Focus will be on project management, social media engagement, email marketing, and other related areas vital to executing a digital operation.
This full-time position requires strong communications skills and confidence and understanding of the principles of direct marketing and how they are applied over the Internet. This is not an entry level position; candidates with significant client-facing program management experience in a professional services field will be strongly preferred. The position will be located in Indianapolis, IN or Alexandria, VA.
Job Responsibilities                    
  • Program and project management. Coordinate and monitor the work of internal delivery teams to complete tasks on time and within budget. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand project priorities in the context of agency and client expectations. Troubleshoot stuck processes and seek help from team leaders when appropriate. Translate projects into calendars and task lists.
·         Client Management. Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, working with the Strategy and Business Development teams to determine the objectives of each client, develop a plan to execute against them, and ensure that expectations are set and met.
  • Delivery. Provide creative and strategic services to clients, such as copywriting, data analysis, digital content creation, implementation, website testing, and online outreach. Actively participate in meetings, both client-facing and internal, and produce follow-up documentation. Develop strategies that address client objectives and develop tactics that further those strategies. Write and produce client-facing proposals and memoranda, presentations, strategic plans, and other materials, both independently and in collaboration with other Prosper Group employees and representatives.
  • Reporting and Analytics. Monitor the effectiveness of online initiatives through weekly reports and assist in analyzing the data in order to optimize the effectiveness of our client’s online efforts.

Required qualifications
·         At least two years of online marketing and project management experience, preferably in a political campaign or agency setting.
·         Have significant hands-on experience managing digital projects (email or social media campaigns, online advertising, website development, etc.)
·         Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
·         Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with an ability to clearly convey concepts to different stakeholders.
·         Accountable for starting tasks with limited direction while functioning in a team environment.
·         Flexibility with time and schedule to meet deadlines.
·         A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
